DRTFilms is a digital film production
company that creates socially conscious productions
which impact, inform and empower the individual.
Recognizing the growing market for "on demand"
media , DRTFilms creates digital
content for DVD release, vodcast
and streaming video. The company is
also developing several web-series, including
Outside The Box, a reality series about female boxers.
DRTFilms' first release, Don't
Fall Down in the Hood, is an urban documentary which
examines the high rate of gun violence among African
American youth. The film follows the transformational
journey of juvenile violent offenders enrolled in Philadelphia's
acclaimed "Don't Fall Down in the Hood" intervention
program.
The film enjoyed a successful run in festivals throughout
the country, and will be released on DVD in February
2010.

Richard
Usher has over fifteen years of television, film,
radio broadcasting and marketing/advertising experience
and has worked on many significant local, regional
and national media campaigns.
Mr. Usher is a RIAA Certified Platinum and Gold Record
Award (BMI) producer, songwriter, composer and artist,
recognized for his motion picture and television soundtracks;
“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles”, “Cool
As Ice” and “TMNT III”, and is a
voting member of the National Academy of Recording
Arts and Sciences.
Richard is principally involved in overseeing the
production of music and voice over tracks for both
HighRise Video Productions and DRTFilms.
